As much as we love what we do here at CommerceHub, it’s always good to take a break every now and then. And what better way to take a break from everyday work than to volunteer our time to a charitable organization in the community?
A group of employees used their company-provided annual volunteer day on 11/17, to volunteer at the Regional Food Bank . They pitched in to help with a variety of tasks at the Food Bank’s warehouse handling everything from food inspection to sorting to boxing items.
With volunteers from across different functions in CommerceHub, it was a remarkable opportunity to get to know new people and foster new bonds. The experience also brought our teams face to face with other volunteers from the local community who work extremely hard every day to prevent hunger in the NE New York region. We loved making a difference to our community in our own little way and had a whole lot of fun doing it, as you’ll notice from the images below!
The team filled 29 pallets with food in just 6 hours 🙂
