Products from top Netflix shows like “Squid Game,” “Stranger Things,” “The Witcher,” and “CoComelon” will be available at Walmart via its digital storefront, the Netflix Hub at Walmart— the streaming service’s first digital storefront with a national retailer.

Home Depot teams up with Walmart GoLocal to enhance local delivery capabilities

The retailers are teaming up to give Home Depot’s customers another way to have their online orders delivered on the same or next day. This is the first publicly announced retailer deal for Walmart’s GoLocal delivery service, which debuted in August. The white label service uses third-party drivers to deliver orders for other businesses across the country.

Petco opens its first flagship for one of its owned brands

In a first for the pet-care giant, it opened a flagship store for one of its owned brands: Reddy. The millennial-centric lifestyle brand, which sells everything from dog leashes and collars to denim jackets and travel bags for pets, was introduced in 2018. Beyond traditional pet supplies, Reddy is billed as a 1,774-square-foot experiential store that includes: a nutrition station with treats and supplements and a lounge area.

Poshmark lets big brands sell on its platform

Poshmark launched, Brand Closet, that allows big brands to sell directly to Poshmark’s 80 million users. Brands can share limited-time products, create brand pages, conduct email campaigns, manage inventory and logistics, and do one-on-one clienteling through Poshmark services.

The Brand Closet program offers access to the following features and benefits to help brands thrive on Poshmark: Turnkey Commerce and Logistics Solutions: Enterprise-grade inventory management tools to support high-volume selling; integrated shipping; third-party logistics integration support with partners such as Rithum, and dedicated customer success teams.

Beth Bath and Beyond partners with Uber to deliver baby essentials

Bed Bath & Beyond has partnered with Uber to help launch a baby and kids vertical on the Uber Eats app. Products — including diapers, wipes and first aid kits — from more than 750 Bed Bath & Beyond stores and nearly 120 BuyBuy Baby stores are available for on-demand delivery on both the Uber and Uber Eats apps.

BJ’s Wholesale Club (BJ) unveils earlier Black Friday offers

The company unveiled the dates of the Black Friday offers and is previewing a select few so members can create their wish lists. The company’s stores will remain closed on the Thanksgiving Day. However, guests can shop online.

In the past year, the company has continuously directed resources toward expanding its digital capabilities to better engage with members and provide them with convenient ways to shop. BJ’s holds a three-year exclusive agreement with Rithum, a leading e-commerce platform that allows online order fulfillment and delivery solutions.

Participating retailers—including Nordstrom, Kohl’s, Neiman Marcus and more—will discuss pressing topics in retail and supply chain.


EcomWorld, claimed “The World’s Largest Ecommerce event”, is bringing together 8,000+ brands online on November 15th to share exclusive knowledge, tactics and actionable strategies on how to build, operate and scale profitable ecommerce businesses in 2021. Some noteworthy attendees include Facebook, Shopify, Amazon and Google.
