The Role

CommerceHub is the platform for retailers and brands to offer, sell, and fulfill anything
anywhere. Today, our customers include Home Depot, Lowe’s, Macy’s, Costco, Adidas, who
combined to transact over $30 billion in gross merchandise volume (“GMV”) through our
platform in 2020. Insight Partners, GTCR and Sycamore Partners are funding growth and
acquisition strategies as we embark on another round of growth powered by new product
innovations.

CommerceHub is seeking a Director of Product to create the vision, strategy and product
direction for Inventory, and lead execution across teams to deliver the vision. This role is ideal
for a player/coach who can work across teams and functions to influence other product areas,
while also directly managing a portfolio of projects. The scope of the role includes designing
systems to enable visibility into inventory across complex retailer supply chains including stores,
distribution centers, and supplier warehouses and being able to make real-time commitments to
consumers when and how it can be delivered to their doorstep in same day or two-day deliveries.
You will work to grow GMV, improved cart conversions, and partner compliance for all major
North America retailers excluding Amazon. Empower the Anti-Amazon coalition as they react to
Amazon changing eCommerce and consumer expectations around product assortment and speed
of delivery.


We’re looking for someone who can execute in collaboration with their product, engineering, BI,
UX and executive partners. The role requires someone comfortable with operating in a highly
dynamic environment, who thrives on navigating ambiguity and solving complex problems.

Responsible for the following:

  • Vision, strategy and roadmap for Inventory
  • Communicate with CommerceHub’s senior leadership and customers
  • Own performance against key business metrics, and will proactively report progress
    against those goals to the relevant stakeholders
  • Drive execution against the Partner Products roadmap
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Sales and Account Management
    to develop an efficient go-to-market plan to get your product in the hands of buyers and users.

Successful candidates for the position must meet the following requirements:

  • Passionate about eCommerce and the problems we’re solving
  • Experience leading product teams and roadmaps to customer value
  • You are comfortable taking rough themes and big ideas and turn them into a roadmap of
    new features, experiments, requirements, and research in service of a larger vision
  • Skilled at communicating with executives at CommerceHub and executives at major
    retailers.
  • Extreme ownership for positive customer outcomes
  • The ability to ask great questions
