CommerceHub was founded in 1997 by Frank Poore and Richard Jones, who serve as CEO and CTO, respectively. We are a leading provider of cloud-based ecommerce fulfillment and marketing solutions for large retailers, marketplaces, consumer brands and their suppliers. We help our customers implement strategies that increase revenue through high-volume drop-ship programs and create meaningful operational efficiency in their ecommerce supply chain with customized business rules and processes.

Our customers include more than 12,000 top retailers, brands and suppliers, including The Home Depot, Macy’s, Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods and more, who use our platform every day to generate consumer demand, fulfill customer orders and facilitate the delivery of products to customers. Frank Poore
Frank Poore Founder & CEO

Frank is responsible for the company‘s overall vision, strategy and execution. After founding CommerceHub in 1997, Frank led the company from initial concept through its establishment as an industry leader, selling CommerceHub to Liberty Interactive in 2006. In 2013 Frank returned as CEO to transform CommerceHub from a data logistics company to a merchandising and fulfillment platform. In between, Frank pioneered the use of mobile technology in the music industry, launching successful apps for Kenny Chesney and major music festivals. Prior to CommerceHub, Frank developed one of the first corporate intranets for Nike’s World Finance Division. He served as a combat radioman in the U.S. Army, and earned an MBA from the University at Albany. Frank is an avid hockey fan.

Richard Jones
Richard Jones CTO

Richard is responsible for engineering and product management, computing infrastructure and operations, supplier onboarding, and customer support. He has over 16 years of experience in delivering cloud-based supply chain and merchandising solutions to top North American retailers. He is the primary architect of the CommerceHub platform. Along with a BS in Mathematics and MS in Computer Science, Richard’s supply chain expertise is augmented by experience in automated theorem proving, video game AI, and Big Data analytics. Richard is also an avid latin dancer.

Mike Trimarchi
Mike Trimarchi CFO

Mike serves as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the commercial strategy, alignment, and development of the organization, to drive business growth and market share. He has over 10 years of experience in public-company financial leadership positions in the e-commerce and Medical Device industries, after starting his career in public accounting. He is a CPA in the State of New York and received his BS in Accounting from SUNY at Albany. Mike has two sons that keep him on the go.

Tom Barone
Tom Barone CCO

As CCO, Tom is responsible for creating a superior customer experience and driving value creation for CommerceHub customers. He brings 30 years of technology, operations and digital commerce experience to his role. Tom is Six Sigma certified with a strong track record of creating value for organizations through operational excellence, revenue growth and deepened relationships with strategic customers. He spent 12 years in Senior Executive roles, including Vice President/General Manager of North American Operations, at eBay Enterprise (GSI Commerce). He also spent 17 years at GE in a variety of cross functional roles including General Manager of the Americas’ Supply Chain for GE Plastics. Tom has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and a MBA from Northwestern University-Kellogg School of Management. Tom enjoys boating, cycling and most outdoor activities.

Doug Wolfson
Doug Wolfson General Counsel & Secretary

Doug is responsible for providing legal direction and support for CommerceHub’s legal and business needs. Before joining CommerceHub, Doug served for ten years as in-house counsel to Infor, a multi-national software-as-a-service (SaaS) and on-premises enterprise software company with over 14,000 employees and operations in over 200 countries and territories. Prior to that, Doug was a transactional lawyer for six years at Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo PC, a full-service Boston law firm where he represented companies and investors in corporate finance, M&A and securities transactions, and a wide array of general corporate matters. After graduating from Boston College Law School, Doug served as a law clerk to the Hon. Justice Neil Lynch at the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Doug enjoys skiing and snowboarding, live music and has an unhealthy interest in Boston sports teams.

John Hinkle
John Hinkle CIO/CISO, EVP Technical Operations

John is responsible for the operation of all production systems and internal IT for CommerceHub. Prior to joining CommerceHub, John was the CIO and Head of Americas Operations at Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: TTWO) where he led the creation of high availability geo-redundant data centers, built on-line gaming infrastructure supporting millions of concurrent game players for Grand Theft Auto, Max Payne and NBA 2K titles, consolidated multiple global ERP systems, and transformed product distribution to an effective 3PL model. Before Take-Two, John served as CIO of Trans World Entertainment (Nasdaq: TWMC) and spent several years in leadership roles at GE. He earned both his Bachelor of Science and Master’s in Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. John is a Six Sigma Black Belt, a Computerworld Premier 100 Honoree, and an avid theater-goer, especially when his daughter is performing.

Scott Opiela
Scott Opiela CMO

Scott leads the strategic execution of the company’s global brand and marketing programs. Prior to CommerceHub, he led the global marketing organization for Autotask Corporation and helped drive annual recurring revenue to $100 million. Scott was a principal of NearMe, a mobile content platform and was responsible for the successful launch of Time Warner Cable’s Road Runner high-speed Internet service. Scott has his BS in Marketing from Clarkson University. He enjoys salmon fishing on Lake Ontario in his free time.

Todd Scarpato
Todd Scarpato SVP, Global Sales

With more than 15 years of retail and technology sales expertise, Todd leads our global sales efforts. After several years in investment banking, Todd began his career in online retail in 2002 when he joined GSI Commerce, a pioneer and eventual leader in offering a broad array of ecommerce services to large retailers and brands. He was part of a small business development team that helped grow GSI to over $1 billion in annual revenue. GSI was acquired by eBay in 2011 where he remained in sales leadership roles until 2015. Todd later served as VP of Sales for the Global Ecommerce division of Pitney Bowes (via its acquisition of Borderfree) and as Chief Sales Officer for ShopRunner, a Kynetic company. Todd earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Villanova University and MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Kathleen Conley
Kathleen Conley SVP, Operations

Kathleen is responsible for managing teams collectively responsible for product and services delivery, which includes platform on-boarding, customer service, product training and other advisory services. Previously the Vice President of Operations, she’s delivered tremendous value leading the platform operations teams that support the growing network. Kathleen’s 30+ year career spans a diverse portfolio of companies including Albany-based Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan (CDPHP), Bank of America, Viewlocity, Inc. Factory Automation & Computer Technologies Inc., and Computer Integrated Modular Manufacturing. She received her MBA and BS in Computer & Systems Engineering from RPI in Troy, NY. In her free time she is an avid gardener, photographer, fitness instructor and adventure traveler.

Erik Morton
Erik Morton SVP, Product & Strategy

Erik is responsible for product, strategy and corporate and business development at CommerceHub. He has 15+ years of experience spanning technology, public markets, finance, strategy and operations. Erik joined CommerceHub in 1999 and returned to the company in 2012 after founding and running ecommerce software provider Initiate Commerce and serving as head of products and services at Merit Pages. He has a BS in business administration and a MBA from the University at Albany.

Gavin Hogan
Gavin Hogan SVP, Engineering

Gavin is responsible for software engineering and operations in support of the CommerceHub platform. Prior to CommerceHub, he worked with SUNY System Administration where he specialized in identity management and large scale data collection systems. Gavin holds a BA in Computer Science and an MBA from the University at Albany. He is passionate about evolvable business systems and cloud computing.

Mike Nelsen
Mike Nelsen Business Development
& Strategic Proj Advisor

Mike is responsible for all business and client development efforts at CommerceHub. He is considered one of the leading experts on drop-ship fulfillment in the retail industry and was the second employee at QVC.com where he helped launch the site and built its fulfillment operations into one of the industry’s first drop-ship networks with over 300 suppliers powering more than $100 million in sales in 1999. After QVC.com, Mike helped start Craftopia.com, which was sold to HSN. Mike has a BA in Management from Davenport University and enjoys spending time in the outdoors and with his family.
