Executive Team

Mike serves as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the commercial strategy, alignment, and development of the organization, to drive business growth and market share. He has over 10 years of experience in public-company financial leadership positions in the e-commerce and Medical Device industries, after starting his career in public accounting. He is a CPA in the State of New York and received his BS in Accounting from SUNY at Albany. Mike has two sons that keep him on the go.

As CRO, Tom is responsible for creating a superior customer experience and driving value creation for CommerceHub customers. He brings 30 years of technology, operations and digital commerce experience to his role. Tom is Six Sigma certified with a strong track record of creating value for organizations through operational excellence, revenue growth and deepened relationships with strategic customers. He spent 12 years in Senior Executive roles, including Vice President/General Manager of North American Operations, at eBay Enterprise (GSI Commerce). He also spent 17 years at GE in a variety of cross functional roles including General Manager of the Americas’ Supply Chain for GE Plastics. Tom has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and a MBA from Northwestern University-Kellogg School of Management. Tom enjoys boating, cycling and most outdoor activities.

Vance has more than 25 years of experience in the technology sector in both the Silicon Valley and Silicon Slopes. He was appointed CEO of Dsco in January of 2020 and also served as the company’s COO. Since the sale of Dsco to CommerceHub, Vance has been orchestrating the integration of the two companies. Prior to Dsco, he was VP and GM at Dell EMC. Vance has his MBA in International Business and a BA in English from Brigham Young University. He serves on several community and industry boards, including Junior Achievement, STEM Action Center, Silicon Slopes and Women Tech Council.

As CTO, Bruce is responsible for technology strategies and all CommerceHub technological operations, including engineering, security and infrastructure. He brings more than 25 years of technical experience, and has led large engineering and operations teams, having served as VP of Engineering or CTO at companies including DSCO where he served as VP of Engineering since 2015, Vultus, The SCO Group and Move Networks. Bruce has a BA in Computer Science from Brigham Young University. He has had a lifelong passion for basketball, singing and loves going to plays with his family.

Blaine leads the development of CommerceHub’s product roadmap and go-to-market strategy. He served as SVP of Operations and Product at Dsco. He was one of the 11 founding team members of Dsco. Blaine has a MS and BS in accounting from Brigham Young University. He enjoys being in the outdoors and spending time with his eight children.

Gavin is responsible for software engineering and operations in support of the CommerceHub platform. Prior to CommerceHub, he worked with SUNY System Administration where he specialized in identity management and large scale data collection systems. Gavin holds a BA in Computer Science and an MBA from the University at Albany. He is passionate about evolvable business systems and cloud computing.

Doug is responsible for providing legal direction and support for CommerceHub’s legal and business needs. Before joining CommerceHub, Doug served for ten years as in-house counsel to Infor, a multi-national software-as-a-service (SaaS) and on-premises enterprise software company with over 14,000 employees and operations in over 200 countries and territories. Prior to that, Doug was a transactional lawyer for six years at Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo PC, a full-service Boston law firm where he represented companies and investors in corporate finance, M&A and securities transactions, and a wide array of general corporate matters. After graduating from Boston College Law School, Doug served as a law clerk to the Hon. Justice Neil Lynch at the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Doug enjoys skiing and snowboarding, live music and has an unhealthy interest in Boston sports teams.

Erik is responsible for setting the overall strategy and vision for the company. He leads corporate development activities, including M&A, and strategic management initiatives to support the operationalization of the company’s strategy into enterprise-wide goals and objectives. In addition, Erik oversees CommerceHub’s business intelligence/analytics team. Erik has been with CommerceHub for 22 years. He started as an intern. He briefly left CommerceHub in 2006 to start a consulting and software development lab that launched multiple ecommerce products, including a product content management system and a supplier search engine, and transformed a small newswire service into a cloud-based EdTech provider with over 500 university customers. Erik rejoined CommerceHub in 2012 to help reposition and grow the company. He has his MBA and BA in business administration from the State University of New York at Albany. Erik enjoys spending time with his family.

Janay leads CommerceHub’s People team. She has a passion for creating and building high-performing workplace cultures. She brings more than 14 years of HR experience building teams and fostering career and professional development and growth at fast-moving tech companies. Prior to joining CommerceHub, Janay served as VP of People Strategy at Dsco. Janay graduated from Westminster College, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Outside of work, Janay enjoys spending time with her family and is an avid yogi, Peloton rider and loves going to the ballet.

Kathleen is responsible for managing teams collectively responsible for product and services delivery, which includes platform on-boarding, customer service, product training and other advisory services. Previously the Vice President of Operations, she’s delivered tremendous value leading the platform operations teams that support the growing network. Kathleen’s 30+ year career spans a diverse portfolio of companies including Albany-based Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan (CDPHP), Bank of America, Viewlocity, Inc. Factory Automation & Computer Technologies Inc., and Computer Integrated Modular Manufacturing. She received her MBA and BS in Computer & Systems Engineering from RPI in Troy, NY. In her free time she is an avid gardener, photographer, fitness instructor and adventure traveler.

Scott leads the strategic execution of the company’s global brand and marketing programs. Prior to CommerceHub, he led the global marketing organization for Autotask Corporation and helped drive annual recurring revenue to $100 million. Scott was a principal of NearMe, a mobile content platform and was responsible for the successful launch of Time Warner Cable’s Road Runner high-speed Internet service. Scott has his BS in Marketing from Clarkson University. He enjoys salmon fishing on Lake Ontario in his free time.

John leads the global sales team at CommerceHub. He has more than 20 years of success in strategic revenue leadership roles at early-stage tech companies and leading enterprise software companies, including Expertvoice, Infopia, Siebel (Oracle), and NetSuite (Oracle). John has a BS in finance, with a minor in marketing, from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Business Management. He is highly passionate about all things with engines, tires and wings.

Ranjit serves as Vice President and General Manager for Marketplace and Advertising Services, helping retailers and brands grow their direct-to-consumer businesses. He has more than 25 years of ecommerce industry experience specifically focused on marketplace and digital advertising management, strategy and operations. Mike is responsible for all business and client development efforts at CommerceHub. He is considered one of the leading experts on drop-ship fulfillment in the retail industry and was the second employee at QVC.com where he helped launch the site and built its fulfillment operations into one of the industry’s first drop-ship networks with over 300 suppliers powering more than $100 million in sales in 1999. After QVC.com, Mike helped start Craftopia.com, which was sold to HSN. Mike has a BA in Management from Davenport University and enjoys spending time in the outdoors and with his family.

Philip serves as Managing Director and is focused on helping grow our European business. He has spent more than 30 years in retail and the CPG sectors, including at Sainsbury’s and Oracle.
