The e-commerce virtual inventory distribution model enables meijer.com to present a more expansive product line than offered in the 181 Meijer supercenters, featuring online exclusive products and pricing. The CommerceHub® Supply-on-Demand platform provides complete visibility and control to manage the supplier-direct process with the same level of brand management, fulfillment performance and customer service Meijer has established in its retail supercenters. The CommerceHub® single-connection for network integrations enabled meijer.com to efficiently on-board and empower suppliers to fulfill orders directly to the end customer, eliminating the need to physically stock and warehouse inventory for its online operation.
