CommerceHub®, the Supply-on-Demand platform for supply chain integration and fulfillment solutions, has been named a 2007 Partner in Progress for Sears Holdings Corporation. CommerceHub® received the award for its support of the successful Sears Holdings “Marketplace” product expansion initiative, aggressively processing and on-boarding new direct-to-consumer vendors. The CommerceHub® flexible One Connection® platform enabled Sears.com to connect and on-board over 150 new direct-to-consumer vendors in 2007. The prestigious Partners in Progress award is presented annually to a select group of supplier companies that provide Sears Holdings with quality products and services, from apparel, appliances and tools to marketing, facilities design and technology. Less than one percent of Sears Holdings’ over 30,000 suppliers earn the coveted award each year. Interim CEO and President Bruce Johnson congratulated the winners stating, “Partners in Progress was started more than 20 years ago and is a testament to the importance of collaborating with our supplier partners to better serve our customers and grow profitably. The Sears Holdings culture is one that places a high priority on teamwork and a focus on customers. The Partners in Progress program allows our company to recognize those suppliers who have gone above and beyond to support Sears Holdings and help us to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness.”
